Visit by Prof Horst W Hamacher and Madam Ronate
Prof. Horst W. Hamacher and Madam Ronate visited ORSN on 3rd March 2011. Prof. Hamacher is the Professor of Mathematics at University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. He was here in Nepal to conduct a four-days workshop on "Emergency Planning" jointly organized by Nepal-German Academic Association (NEGAAS) http://www.negaas.org.np/, University Grants Commission (UGC) http://www.ugcnepal.edu.np/ and Central Department of Mathematics, Tribhuvan University (TU). Prof. Hamacher is the Immediate Past President of Operational Research Society of Germany. ORSN hosted a dinner program on the same day at Babbar Mahal Revisited, Kathmandu, Nepal to honor Prof. Hamacher.
